I am up in Tokyo for a two-day graduate seminar, but came up early to do a little exploring at Tsukiji Outer Market and Koishikawa Korakuen Garden!!
My first time living and working in Japan, I purchased some gorgeous vegetable cutters from Aritsugu (one of Japan’s oldest knife shops) on a suggestion from my mentor Elizabeth Andoh...I had not been back since 2011. I made a trip to the smaller Tsukiji branch and bought about 10 gorgeous new cutters to round out my collection!
Next, I headed over to Iidabashi and Koishikawa Kōrakuen Garden; I adore Japanese Gardens but have not visited that many in Tokyo, so I really enjoyed the gorgeous weather and many wedding photo shoots that were taking place. I will definitely be back for fall color!
